How Female Passenger Died While Boarding Flight In Abuja Airport

On Wednesday, 20th April 2022, a female passenger died at the domestic terminal of the Abuja Airport.

Confirming this, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), said the female passenger died while waiting to board a flight.

According to FAAN, the female passenger had slumped and died on Wednesday 20th April at 0834 hours.

In the statement by the Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs FAAN, Mrs. Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, the agency said, it was observed that, the passenger had difficulty in breathing at the boarding hall.

It noted that efforts made at resuscitating her, including the administration of CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) proved abortive.

FAAN lamented that despite spirited efforts by its medical officials to resuscitate her, she was confirmed dead at about 0906hours , adding that her remains were subsequently taken to the NAF Medical Centre.
