“Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” Ephesians 3:17.
A wise man once said that in many ways, we are like tree trunks moving according to the direction of the wind when life is blowing at us from every direction. Of course, our emotions will go up and down and all around, but sometimes we live as if we only have branches, while our goal is to help each other find our own trunk.
Beloved of God, I pray today that if we feel blown here and there by life’s challenges, we must remember our identity in Christ.
With Him, we can experience deep peace with God and each other, nourished by Christ’s power and beauty.
Whatever our fear or anxiety, may God keep us strong in Him today through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
