“I will restore David’s fallen shelter. I will repair it’s broken walls and restore it’s ruins and will rebuild it as it used to be.” Amos 9:11.
Before scientific knowledge became a part of our lives, darkness during the day has been seen as something unusual.
During the days of Amos, he warned the northern kingdom that destruction will come if they continued to be disobedient to God. For him, this is what darkness means.
However, God’s ultimate desire and purpose was and is to make all things right.
Beloved of God, I pray that when life is at its darkest, we can find comfort in knowing that God is at work in our matter, to bring light and hope back to all.
God will surely restore to us whatever has fallen in our lives.
He will restore the ruins of our habitation and rebuild whatever we in need of rebuilding in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
