“He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, and shall not despise their prayer.” Psalm 102:17
The writer of Psalm 102 knew the importance of prayer. Like most of us know, this Psalm is labelled “A prayer of the afflicted when he is overwhelmed and pours out his complaint before the Lord.” God looks down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven He views the earth”.
Beloved of God, our God cares for all of us and wants to hear us talk to Him. Our prayers are acknowledgement of our need for God. All of us are destitutes before the Lord God and He will not despise our prayers. The issue is not the length of time but seeking him out each day matters.
God will hear our cries for deliverance and for mercy.
He will not despise your prayers and He will hear our prayers to Him. Amen
