Donates Borehole, School Uniforms in Mushin
A thanksgiving and worship event has been held to mark the 40th birthday of Pastor Leke Adeboye, last born of the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Organised by the GO’s wife, Pastor Titi Adeboye ,the private event was filled with life and glamour as guests from different parts of the country graced the occasion.
It was held at his residence, parading dignitaries including Pastor J.O. Obayemi, the National Overseer of RCCG (Nigeria), Pastor J.F. Odesola, the Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Admin & Personnel), Pastor J. Adeyokunnu, the Financial Controller of RCCG, Pastor Kunle Ajayi, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, Founder of the Love of Christ Generation Church C&S (Worldwide), Pastor Adeolu Adeboye, elder brother to the celebrant, Pastor Bisi Akande, Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG Youth Province 1, among other guests.
Olusayo Orodele led the celebrant and the guests to a wonderful session of worship and praise to appreciate God for His faithfulness and mercies over the life of the celebrant.
Pastor Leke Adeboye, who doubles as the Principal Executive Assistant to the General Overseer of RCCG and the Assistant Pastor-in-Charge of Province (CSR), RCCG Youth Province 1, is also the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG LSC the Bridge as well as the global coordinator of RCCG Pastors’ Seeds Family.
According to associates, Pastor Leke Adeboye is a man who values people, a friend to both the high and the lowly as well as an exemplary leader who is very passionate about lifting others.
In addition to the thanksgiving and worship event, the celebrant also organized a Christian Social Responsibility Programme where he gave out 5,000 food packs to people and also distributed school bags and uniforms to 40 pupils.
In addition, he organized a medical outreach where medical checkups were conducted with free medical glasses distributed to people in need.
This is in addition to donating a borehole to Mushin to provide the people with access to clean, portable water.
Several dignitaries at the event gave kind remarks about the person, character and influence of the celebrant as they recalled some of the wonderful encounters they had with him.
