“By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.” Hebrews 11:23 (KJV)
In the book of Exodus 2:2 the scripture tells us about the birth Moses. “And the woman conceived and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.” (Exodus 2:2 KJV). Other parents didn’t believe that their children could live, but Jochebed, the mother of Moses chose to believe. Jochebed said: Look this is a proper child. God will preserve this child. Other children became food for the crocodiles in the Nile. But Moses’ mother believed God and she held on to her baby. As sure as God had spoken about the deliverance of His people from captivity, Moses was supernaturally preserved, even in the camp of the enemy. God’s people were in captivity in Egypt for four hundred years. That was enough time for anyone to stop believing and become used to slavery. But Jochebed believed.
If you have been in a problem for one or two years, probably you will be used to it. But Jehovah has spoken that they will come out. It didn’t look like it, but Jehovah has spoken. And as sure as that Word has gone forth, at the appropriate time, God raised up Moses and said go and deliver my people. Today I announce your deliverance from every form of captivity.
When they came to the Red sea, behind them were the enemy and before them obstacle. Yet God said: “…Wherefore crieth thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:” (Exodus 14:15 KJV). That instruction didn’t make sense, but it came from Jehovah. Believe and act on God’s instructions. Don’t try to understand. God’s instructions are not meant to be understood. They are meant to be believed. There will be a lot of things that will make you argue. There will be a lot of things that will make you wonder. But just believe! When you believe what God said, then you will have the manifestation of what was spoken.
When God speaks, He is not telling you what He wants to do but He is telling you what He has already done. He is telling you what he has already packaged. When you believe, it will come to pass in your life.
