Dana Air says it is strengthening it’s partnership with 7 Star Global Hanger, an airplane maintenance company.
The airline made this known at the just concluded Aviation Africa Conference 2023 held at the International Conference Center in Abuja.
The Chief Operating Officer of Dana Air, Mr. Ememobong Ettete said Dana Air had shown great commitment to the development of the sector by recruiting and training many Nigerians in key areas of the sector in a bid to raise more homegrown Maintenance and Repair.
He said that the company’s contribution and commitment to the growth of the industry, the Nigerian dream and local content was unwavering which was why the company was determined to let the world know its capabilities as presented at the Africa aviation conference.
According to him, 7 Star Global Hanger could handle line and base maintenance for Boieng 737, MD80, Emb 135/145, Dash 8, Learjet, challengers and a host of other types of aircrafts promising that Dana Air was committed to the growth and expansion of the company.
Mr. Ememobong Ettete commended the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo and the Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Musa Nuhu, for their commitment towards the growth of airlines and the development of the industry.
Having recently recruited and trained over 20 Nigerian Pilots, Enginners and Flight Dispatchers, It will be recalled that Dana Air is the first airline to broker a major local maintenance deal with 7 Star Global Hanger signaling the airline’s commitment to see the industry not just grow but surpass it’s potentials.
