SCOAN leader receives multiple awards from Argentina for impactful service

The leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Pastor Evelyn Joshua has received awards from the Argentine authorities and people for her impactful Gospel and humanitarian services to the people.

The announcement of the awards was contained in a statement signed by SCOAN Spokesman, Mr Dare Adejumo in Lagos on Friday.

SCOAN in October carried out a city wide revival and humanitarian works that impacted no fewer than 500 families targeted at the poorest of the poor in the city of Residencia, Argentina.

The crusade that was given official recognition as an event of public interest by the various government bodies in the country, gave SCOAN a corporate citizenship status.

According to Adejumo, the award “Key of the city of Resistencia in CHACO Province” was given to Evelyn Joshua by the Mayor of the city, Abelardo Nokckich,

“That “key” makes the SCOAN leader the first among equals, a distinguished personality and a very important “citizen” of the Argentine city.

“The other awards: are from the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Province of CHACO, Mrs Carmen Delgado Britto in recognition of the crusade as “a special event and a great thing for the Province by law” and that by the Governor of the province Mr. Leandro Zdero in appreciation for the crusade’s citizens reform,” he said.

He noted that Evelyn Joshua, expressed surprised by the awards, expressed gratitude to the nation and the Awarders.

“It’s God’s command that we should be in Argentina to demonstrate His love physically and spiritually.

” I dedicate these awards to the christians in Argentina who are striving and yearning to be like our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

“That you may continue to grow in faith, spirit and words of God. I thank the Argentine government and all the various authorities that considered me fit for the awards.

She prayed for a glorious turn around and God’s blessings for the land.

He said that the awards done after the two days revival in the city of Residencia, had dignitaries such as the Provincial Deputy, Mr Paola Beneitez, and The Minister of Justice, Labour and Human Rights Mr. Jorge Gomez.

Others were the Director of Religious Affairs for the Province, Mr Pedro Garcia and Director of Religious Affairs for the municipality of Resistencia, Mr. Javier Pinero in attendance.
