“My father’s house has many rooms,:…I am going there to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2.
At the upper room, Jesus spoke to His disciples about His coming betrayal and death. Knowing how difficult the days ahead was going to be, Jesus comforted them with the assurance that He was going to prepare a place for them in heaven.
Beloved of God, even in the midst of our own dark hours, we can trust Him to lead us forward to a place of safety, a place of peace, joy and a place of happiness.
As you walk with Him, may you be filled with grace to trust Him and rest in His faithfulness.
May we truly be made right to occupy the rooms He has reserved for us above.
May our deeds and confessions draw us closer to the resurrected Savior of the world
May the places He has prepared for those who love Him not be uninhabited in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
