“I have laid the foundation…but let each one take heed how he builds on it” 1 Corinthians 3:10.
In building as in most human endeavours, there are directions or manuals for success. Not following directions/instructions leads to poor outcomes. Sometimes, a whole building may be brought down and this can be costly. This will be difficult for a human life. However, if we have Jesus Christ as our foundation, it is easy to start afresh. We can follow His blueprint for living and pray it works.
The blue print can be in how we value others, how we respond to the needs/aspirations of the less privileged and how we give and how we respond with love to those who have wronged us.
Beloved of God, we pray that God will help us to follow His blueprint for building, and may our structures endure life’s snags.
May our efforts not crumble, and
May it not be burnt by fire in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
