Ondo Health Workers Back-out Of JOHESU Strike

The Ondo State government says its health workers will not be joining the strike action declared by the Joint Health Sector Union , JOHESU

A statement from the office of the head of service by the director of information, Sina Adeyeye says the position was taken in view of the existing mutual understanding between the organized labor and the Akeredolu administration.

It asks members of the public not to entertain any fear of disruption of services in the health centers.

The statement states that government will continue to engage relevant workers unions to permanently address all legitimate concerns of all Health Workers all workers in the state.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria, the state Chairman, Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria , MHWUN , Comrade Segun Ajiboye confirmed the union’s non-participation in the strike.
