JOHESU Strike: Health Workers Asked To Withdraw Service Nationwide

Health Workers across the country have been directed to withdraw their services nationwide.

The joint Health Sector union JOHESU gave the directive while briefing newsmen in Abuja on the industrial action it declared against the Federal Government.

The National Vice President of JOHESU,Dr Obinna Ogbonna at the briefing outlined the demands of the union, insisting that the indefinite strike would be total.

The National chairman of the Assembly of Health professional Association, professor James Damen attributed the crisis to what he called discriminatory practices against non phisician health workers in the country.

Professor Damen emphsised that all affiliate unions of JOHESU have been directed to effect the strike.
