… underscore relevance of praise in worship
Some Gospel music promoters have underscored the immense importance the praise ministry saying it adds vibrance to worship and endears God to the participants.
They made the assertion at the inauguration of the Xtianan Gobal Praise Ministry at the Covenant House Church of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event featured soul-lifting songs from various singers and bands, that thrilled the audience.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Convener of the Praise Quake 2024 concert, Bisi Ladipo formally inaugurated her long-time dream praise outfit to add value to the Gospel praise concert.
Bisi unveiled the outfit as a way of encouraging upcoming artistes.
Pastor Kingsley Ogbonna, who performed the inauguration, charged the outfit to win souls for Christ with the ministry.
Ogbonna mandated the group to fill the global gospel music space with praise songs that would make it gain global accolades to the glory of God.
“God poured out his spirit on humans to choose in which area to serve Him.
“The praise ministry has fallen on our sister Bisi it is my prayer that God give her the needed oil to triumph to stardom,” he said.
In a remark, Founder of Xtianan Global Praise Ministry (XGPM) Bisi Ladipo, said that, it was a vision that has come to reality.
Ladipo, who sang and danced during the event in appreciation of God said that, the project would reinvigorate the music scene with its brand.
The promoter described praise as the easiest means to commune with God and get results, urging people to praise God in all conditions for his benovelency to mankind.
She said that, the ministry would beam its searchlight on campuses with a view to bringing to the fore angelic voices lying fallow in the institutions.
According to her the vigor blend that will encompass afrobeat flavour is needed to make the songs captivating and at the same time pass the Good News message of salvation and gratitude to God.
“The outfit will use every platform to advance songs of upcoming artists to global stardom to the glory of God.
“I will use the outfit to preach the gospel to people irespective of faith as our target is thanks and appreciation to God.
“I am a witness to what praise can be use to achieve. God’s intention for human creation is no other thing than for people to worship and praise Him.
“Nothing say we cannot achieve the healing of our land by praiseing Him faithfully as the scriptures say praise makes the earth yield its increase,” she said.
The gospel music minister, urged people especially couples to render praises to God during difficult times and experience the raw power of God to safeguard His own in the midst of challenges.
She congratulated herself for being found worthy to use her resources to praise God and propagate the gospel.
She also thanked her husband Mr Tunde Ladipo, retired Deputy Comptroller General (DCG) of the Nigerian Correctional Service, for standing by her dream.
